Location. The Time Hotel in New York City, N.Y., is located in the center of Manhattan's Times Square. The hotel is one-half block from Broadway shows, and less than three blocks from Fifth Avenue shopping, Rockefeller Center and the Winter Garden Theater.

Hotel Features. Built in 1926, this New York City hotel offers minimalist urban design with large glass elevators leading to the reception area on the second floor. The all-white lobby includes white leather chairs with bursts of color from pink flowers, while the hotel staff wears all black. The Time Hotel's on-site restaurant serves American cuisine. The Time Lounge provides cocktails. The hotel includes a glass-encased atrium filled with plants. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day and includes a 48-inch flat-screen television.

Guestrooms. The Adam Tihany-designed guestrooms feature tall, quilted headboards, bedspreads and artwork based either in red, blue or yellow. Guestrooms are equipped with cable television, high-speed Internet access and Bose Wave radios. Complimentary weekday newspapers are delivered to the guestrooms. Room service is available. Bathrooms include bathrobes and Gilchrist & Soams toiletries. Minibars are included in all rooms and room service is available for limited hours.

Expert Tip. While Broadway is only one-half block from the Time Hotel, shows are even closer that that. O'Neill Theatre, adjacent to the hotel, is a New York landmark and discount seats are available through the concierge.

Follow Grand Central Parkway West to I-278 West.
Exit SR-25A and bear right on Queens Plaza North.
Stay on Queensboro Bridge to 2nd Avenue South exit.
Turn left on 2nd Avenue and right on East 57th Street.
Turn left on Broadway and right on West 49th Street.
